Kamel confirmed that “these reports are completely false,” pointing out that “the artist is still in the recovery phase after surgery.”

He added that “the veteran singer is currently in the intensive care unit, and visits have been restricted for at least 72 hours as per doctors’ recommendations to monitor his condition and vital functions.”

The syndicate head noted that “things are going well, and the artist’s condition is steadily improving,” adding that “his return home after recovery will be news that delights all lovers of Arabic music from the Mediterranean to the Gulf.”
