Amr Diab’s appearance with his children tops social media trends The photo ignites fans’ excitement in record time

In a promotional surprise that captured attention with the start of the Ramadan season, the entire family of Amr Diab appeared together for the first time in an advertisement for a telecommunications company in Egypt. This rare family appearance quickly became the talk of social media and topped engagement lists.

The star, known as “The Plateau,” appeared surrounded by his children — Nour, Abdullah, Kenzy and Jana — in a scene that once again highlighted his close relationship with his family and sparked great enthusiasm among his fans in Egypt and across the Arab world. Many considered the ad one of the warmest and most eye-catching family moments of the season.

This was not Abdullah’s first appearance with his father, as he had previously joined Amr Diab in earlier advertisements in which they performed the song Ah Ya Leil. They reunited again last year to sing Yalla from Diab’s latest album Ebtedeina.

His daughter Jana had also appeared with him in last year’s advertisement, where they performed the song Khatfouni, which achieved wide public interaction after its release.

Limited appearances

However, the current appearance came as a real surprise to Amr Diab’s fans, since his daughters Nour and Kenzy had never appeared with him in any advertising work before, and usually limit their public presence to their personal social-media accounts only. This gave the commercial a particularly special character at the beginning of Ramadan.

This notable family appearance came only hours after a competing advertisement brought actress Abla Kamel back to the screen for her first appearance in many years — a move that many followers viewed as a clear advertising race among telecommunications companies in Egypt to attract viewers’ attention through different approaches.

It is worth noting that Nour is Amr Diab’s daughter from his first wife, actress Sherine Reda, while Abdullah, Kenzy and Jana are his children from his second wife, Zeina Ashour.
