She explained in TV statements that her ex-husband was unable to have children, affirming that her dream of motherhood still lingers, and that adoption is a humane choice she firmly believes in.

She added: "Carter is the best person in the world, but I wish we had never married; circumstances didn’t allow it, and he will always have my full respect."
