Vehicle plunges into water canal in Dakahlia Investigations launched into the tragic accident

A tragic accident occurred when a transport truck overturned, killing four workers and injuring six others with varying degrees of severity, after the vehicle fell into a water canal in Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt.

The victims were on their way to work, seeking their daily livelihood, prompting widespread sympathy and prayers for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased.

According to local media, the injured were transported to Sambalouen General Hospital to receive the necessary medical care, while the bodies of the victims were placed under the custody of the Public Prosecution, which has begun investigations to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident.

Recurring tragedies This accident comes after a series of tragic incidents in Egypt, including the Menoufia accident in June 2025, which claimed the lives of 19 girls, and the Minya accident in April 2025, which resulted in the deaths of 8 people and injuries to 26 others following a severe collision involving a mini transport truck carrying agricultural workers.
