Egyptian actress Nihal Al-Qadi’s health has continued to deteriorate sharply, showing no signs of improvement after she fell into a full coma following a severe traffic accident that required her transfer to the ICU at a Cairo hospital for urgent medical care.

Her colleagues and fans have expressed deep concern across social media, sending prayers for her speedy recovery and hoping for her condition to stabilize soon.

Her sister told local media that Friday marked a crucial turning point in her condition, explaining that doctors informed the family she had passed the first critical stage by the end of the day—a small but hopeful sign—while urging the public to keep her in their prayers.

She added that Nihal has regained only about 3% consciousness due to a brain hemorrhage, noting that the medical team explained that passing the danger stage depends on 72 hours of treatment in the hospital.

Local reports confirmed that Nihal suffered a concussion, lung damage, and multiple fractures across different parts of her body due to the accident.

Authorities have arrested the driver responsible and referred him to the proper legal authorities to carry out the necessary investigations.
