In a sudden health development, the veteran Egyptian artist Mohamed Sobhi was transferred to a private hospital on Friday after suffering an emergency heart attack while he was near the Cairo–Alexandria Desert Road.

According to security sources, the emergency operations room received an urgent report about a critical medical case on Mohamed Hegazy Street, opposite the Grand Egyptian Museum. Authorities immediately moved to the scene, where initial examinations revealed that the artist had suffered a heart attack, necessitating his rapid transfer to receive the required medical care.

Medical sources confirmed that the prominent theater star arrived at the hospital and is currently undergoing thorough medical examinations and close monitoring, with no official statement yet issued regarding the severity or stability of his condition.

This incident comes amid Mohamed Sobhi’s ongoing health instability over the past months, which previously prompted Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in November, to direct concerned authorities to provide him with full medical support and comprehensive healthcare, along with detailed medical reports to closely monitor his health condition on an ongoing basis.
