Foul Vendor Kills His Four Children and Dumps Their Bodies in the Saline Ponds The victims' father committed the crime due to his inability to provide for them

A horrifying crime shook the city of Alexandria, northern Egypt, after an extensive investigation by the Karmouz District Prosecution revealed shocking details about a foul vendor who killed his four children and dumped their bodies in the local saline ponds, areas used for salt extraction.

According to the investigation report, the massacre on Thursday resulted in the deaths of four children—three girls and one boy—aged between 12 and 16. Their fifth sibling survived purely by chance after refusing to go with his father the night of the crime, being very attached to his aunt.

“Inability to Provide” The investigations clarified that the father committed the crime because he was unable to support them financially, in addition to being subjected to constant ridicule and disdain by those around him due to the behavior of their late mother, who had passed away earlier.

The probe also revealed a previous failed attempt by the father to get rid of his children, as he took them at night to a railway crossing, attempting to throw them under the train wheels. The plan failed due to the presence of many citizens, prompting him to change course and take the children to the abandoned saline ponds to carry out the crime away from prying eyes.

Sources stated that the father strangled his children one by one, repeating: “You have no life in this world,” ignoring the desperate pleas and cries of his eldest daughter, who tried to stop him.

Investigations also revealed that the suspect attempted to flee to Dakahlia Governorate, but security forces managed to trace his route and arrest him before he could escape.
