"The news is shocking" Jordanian singer Diana Karzon posted a picture of the late artist on her account, commenting: "Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return. The artist, brother, friend, and lifelong companion Suleiman Abboud is in God’s care. May God have mercy on you." She added: "The news is shocking, and I have nothing to say except 'There is no power nor strength except with God.' May God give your family and children patience for your loss, O bearer of the kindest heart."
A Rich Artistic Journey Suleiman Abboud began his musical career in 1991 while residing in Kuwait, before returning to Jordan to produce works that left a clear mark on Jordanian and Arab music. His first song was a patriotic piece entitled “God Protect the Homeland.” In 2000, he participated in the Arab Song Festival for Radio and Television, where he won the Best Performance award for the song “The Last Confession” with lyrics by poet Haidar Mahmoud.
