Reham Saeed Confirms Refusal to Respond to Ahmed Al-Awady’s Statements Reham Saeed: "I don’t want to upset anyone during these blessed days"

Egyptian presenter Reham Saeed sparked widespread controversy on social media after posting a critical comment about actor Ahmed Al-Awady on her Facebook account, before deleting the post a few minutes later.

Saeed later clarified that she refuses to respond directly to Al-Awady’s recent statements, noting that he may have rushed to judge the success of his new series Ali Clay before it airs to the public.

In the text of her now-deleted post, Saeed said: "I thought carefully; if I respond to you, you will be upset, and I don’t want to upset anyone during these blessed days." She added: "You are working now and decided on your own that your series will succeed before we see it, so I’ll let you focus, but the day will come when I will respond to you."

Later, Reham Saeed appeared in a live video on her official Instagram account, commenting on the controversy, emphasizing that she does not have enough time to respond to such talks, and requesting that her name not be involved in news that does not concern her, to preserve her privacy and reputation.

The situation sparked mixed reactions among her followers, with some seeing her stance as self-restraint and adherence to polite dialogue, while others considered her initial reaction to reflect clear tension in media and artistic relations.
