Ahmed El-Fishawy Attends His Mother Somaya El-Alfy’s Funeral Coming from the U.S. Ahmed El-Fishawy Appears Agitated in the Video Clip

A video clip of actor Ahmed El-Fishawy circulated in recent hours during the funeral of his late mother, actress Somaya El-Alfy, showing him visibly saddened.

After missing the funeral due to being in the United States, Ahmed El-Fishawy made sure to attend the memorial alongside his brother Omar to receive condolences from fellow stars and fans.

During the funeral, the scene witnessed several confrontations with intruders and photographers. A young man tried to film a video of El-Fishawy while he was crying, prompting him to react and prevent the filming—a response widely supported by the public given his difficult emotional state.

Another clip showed Ahmed organizing the movement of photographers and reporters, asking them to treat the front area of the hall as a "red carpet" to allow attendees to pass and offer condolences easily. He said spontaneously: "Consider this space as a red carpet and don’t come close so people can pass."

The funeral saw a large attendance of stars from the artistic community who came to pay their respects. Cameras captured an emotional moment when Sherine embraced Ahmed El-Fishawy, and he cried intensely in her arms. Other attendees included Mona Shalaby and her husband producer Ahmed El-Genaini, Amr Youssef and his wife Kinda Alloush, Ahmed Salah El-Saadany, Ahmed El-Sakka, Rami Imam, Ashraf Zaki, Loubna, Donia Samir Ghanem and her husband Rami Radwan, Mounir Makram, Bassem Samra, Wafaa Maki, among others.

The late Somaya El-Alfy was last seen on the set of the film "Safah Al-Tajamoa", starring her son Ahmed El-Fishawy, where she expressed support for him while watching some scenes, assuring that the film would be a surprise for the audience.
