The appearance of actor Edward on a wheelchair inside a hospital sparked wide debate among the public after photos of him circulated on social media, prompting many to question his health and express concern.

Edward posted a video on his program, reassuring his audience, explaining that the reason he was using a wheelchair was due to a minor foot sprain, saying: "I woke up and my leg twisted; this is normal and there’s nothing to worry about." He confirmed that he went to the hospital to check and perform the necessary scans, and that sitting in the wheelchair was a precautionary measure during examinations.

"Everything is fine"

The actor also expressed his annoyance at the photos being shared without consent, stating: "Someone took a picture of me and said I was sick, and I am speaking to you now from Cairo Studio live on air, and everything is fine." He confirmed that he would take legal action to identify the person who took the photos without permission.

Meanwhile, the Actors’ Syndicate issued a statement confirming that Edward’s health is stable, and that the use of the wheelchair was temporary due to the foot sprain. The syndicate urged the media and social media users to verify accuracy and avoid spreading rumors, emphasizing that the actor is in very good health.
