• Somaya El-Alfi sent her last message to Ahmed El-Fishawy before her passing
• It included her support and prayers for the success of his film

Egyptian author and screenwriter Mohamed Salah El-Azab revealed the final message from the late artist Somaya El-Alfi to her son Ahmed El-Fishawy before her death, highlighting her deep bond with him and her constant support even in her final moments.

Mohamed Salah El-Azab posted an emotional audio recording on his personal Instagram account of Somaya El-Alfi before her departure, on Saturday morning, at the age of 72, following her struggle with cancer.

El-Alfi appeared during her visit to the set of the film “Saffah Al-Tajammu’”, the last artistic work that El-Fishawy was working on at the time.

Through the audio recording, Somaya El-Alfi addressed her son Ahmed El-Fishawy with touching words, saying: "My dear Ahmed, may God keep you for me and make you happy as you make me happy, and may He comfort your heart as He comforts mine."

She was keen to support her son with prayers for him and her expectations for the film’s success, saying: "May God honor you and grant you success, and God willing, your film will break the world, and you will say Mama said, God willing, it will be a turning point in your career."

El-Alfi stated that the success of “Saffah Al-Tajammu’” would mark a turning point in her son’s artistic journey, noting that he performs a completely different role from his previous ones, describing his performance as distinguished and unique.

She added that she had never seen her son live the character of a role in this way since he portrayed his character in the film “45 Days”, which prompted her to attend one of the filming sessions.

The artist’s message is considered the last thing El-Fishawy received from his mother before her departure, giving it special significance in his personal and professional life, as it reflects feelings of love, encouragement, and support, and shows the depth of their relationship away from the spotlight.
