The village of “Azbat 3” in the northern governorate of Damietta witnessed a tragic accident that claimed the lives of a mother and her three children after they suffered from suffocation due to a gas leak inside their home, in a heartbreaking event that shocked the community.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the mother and her children faced death at the hands of the “silent killer,” with examinations confirming that the cause of death was suffocation due to gas leakage, compounded by closed windows and poor ventilation inside the house.

Family’s Lack of Movement Neighbors discovered the incident after noticing the absence of any movement from the family, forcing them to break open the door to reveal the magnitude of the tragedy. Additionally, two other people present in the home were injured and transferred to the hospital for treatment, with authorities continuing to monitor their medical condition.
