Urgent Appeal to Control the Situation Egyptian Official: "A plan has been prepared to secure the canal surroundings"

Panic and fear swept through the residents of Al-Zawamel village in Belbeis Center after video clips circulated showing crocodiles in a sewage canal near a residential area.

The videos, showing several crocodiles of different sizes, sparked concern among locals who called on authorities to intervene quickly to control the situation and protect residents.

The crocodiles swim in the canal and sometimes come onto the surrounding land, posing a direct threat to residents and children who pass daily on their way to school.

"Urgent Plan"

Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmoni, Governor, confirmed in media statements that an urgent plan has been prepared to secure the canal surroundings and prevent crocodiles from approaching residential areas, with all necessary precautionary measures taken to protect citizens until full control of the situation is achieved.
