Donia Samir Ghanem’s latest work is the film "Roki El-Ghalaba", her second cinematic lead after "Tasleem Ahali" (2021). The film mixes social themes with comedy and human moments. Donia plays a young woman from a simple rural background who suddenly enters the world of boxing, tasked with protecting a doctor played by Mohamed Mamdouh, whose life is threatened by mysterious forces.
The cast also includes Mohamed Tharwat, Ahmed Talaat, Bayoumi Fouad, Mohamed Radwan, and Donia’s daughter Kayla. The film is written by Karim Youssef and directed by Ahmed El-Gendy.
