Egyptian TV presenter Mamdouh Saad surprised his followers by announcing his intention to retire from media work soon, expressing his desire to focus on personal matters away from the pressures of fame and continuous work.

In a video he posted on his official Instagram account, Saad said: "I always wished that when I grew older, I could dedicate myself to something other than work… I want to be in my own world and do what I loved when I was young… I really want to stop everything and focus on just one thing… I really love sitting in the mosque."

In the video, Saad addressed a question he often asks himself: "Why are you still working?" explaining that he frequently wonders why he continues to work in media despite the pressures.

He also revealed his passion for spending time in mosques, adding: "One of the most beautiful things that delights me is the sound of the call to prayer, so I make sure any place I live near a mosque so I can hear it," noting that this love for mosques has been with him since childhood.

The Egyptian presenter concluded by expressing his desire to simplify his life and return to activities and pursuits he enjoys, away from the intense demands of media work, focusing on reclaiming some privacy away from the spotlight and fame.
