Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny has returned from Germany to Egypt to continue his treatment following surgery to remove part of his kidney, receiving a wave of support and well-wishes from his fans.

Tamer Hosny posted a message of thanks on his official Facebook account, saying: "I don’t know how to thank you for all the sincere feelings you’ve sent me during this time. Honestly, words fail me… I will continue my treatment in Egypt, God willing. Please keep me in your prayers until we meet again safely, God willing."

In a heartfelt message, fellow actor Magid El-Masri sent his support immediately after Tamer’s return: "Wishing you a full recovery, Tamer! Welcome home, thank God for your safety, hero, my successful companion who always shines. I’m waiting for your first concert to break the stage as usual." He added: "I’ll be the first to attend. I pray for him: O Lord of mankind, remove all ailments, grant complete healing to Your servant Tamer Hosny, restore him healthy to his family and fans, make what he endured an expiation and elevation in his ranks, and cover him with Your mercy and kindness, O Most Merciful of the merciful."

A few days earlier, Tamer Hosny had spoken about his health condition, stating: "I didn’t want to talk about my health crisis or personal matters… but since the news circulated, I want to clarify that I have been dealing with a kidney problem for some time. A few days ago, my condition required urgent surgery, and part of my kidney was removed. Thank God for everything. Thank you to everyone who checked on me and continues to pray for me."

Tamer’s return to Egypt allows him to follow up closely with his medical team, while his fans express relief and joy at seeing him in good health after the recent health scare.
