Massive Fire Destroys "Al-Noilati" Sets, Production Company Issues Urgent Statement – Video

The filming city of the TV series “Al-Noilati” was hit by a massive fire that destroyed the sets, technical facilities, and a large amount of equipment, causing substantial material losses, with no injuries reported among the crew.
Social media erupted with reactions to the incident, recalling several previous fires that damaged series sets and caused significant artistic losses, leaving the production team in shock.
Preliminary data indicate that the fire broke out less than half an hour after the crew had left the site, around midnight. It consumed the heritage-style alleys and buildings prepared for filming, and initial evidence suggests the fire may have been deliberate, while official investigations continue to determine the full circumstances.
The production company, in a statement issued after the incident, confirmed that filming will continue according to the planned schedule and that reconstruction of the “Al-Noilati” set will begin immediately, maintaining the artistic and production standards of the series.
The company also called on anyone with information that could help clarify the circumstances of the fire to contact the relevant authorities directly, emphasizing that the safety of the crew remains the top priority, and that material losses, however large, do not outweigh the value of human life. Egyptian security authorities have launched an investigation into the cause and details of the fire.
