The city of Alexandria, on the Mediterranean coast, was shaken by a crime that shocked residents, after a woman fatally stabbed her husband in front of their three children in a tragic scene.

According to security sources, a severe argument broke out between the couple inside their home, which quickly escalated into a tragedy when the wife used a knife to fatally attack her husband, resulting in his immediate death. The children suffered severe psychological trauma after witnessing the incident.

Neighbors and locals described the victim, aged 35 and owner of a car repair workshop, as a well-reputed and calm man, making the crime even more shocking to the community. They added that the children’s screams prompted them to rush to the house and immediately alert the police.

The police were able to detain the wife promptly, while the prosecution retained the body until investigations were completed and all circumstances clarified, prior to issuing a burial permit.
