Anxiety swept over fans of the great musician Omar Khairat after the announcement of his sudden health setback. Artist Mostafa Kamel, head of the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate, revealed that the crisis was caused by pneumonia resulting from a recent respiratory infection.

Mostafa Kamel explained that he contacted Nevin Nazeef, the wife of Khairat’s brother, Osman Khairat, and the person responsible for organizing his concerts. She confirmed that the musician’s condition is currently stable and that he is receiving the necessary medical care, including several tests and chest X-rays. She added that Omar Khairat is recovering and reassures his fans about his health.

Postponement of Artistic Activities The musician had been admitted to one of the major hospitals in Cairo, which forced him to temporarily postpone his artistic activities and cancel his upcoming concerts as scheduled.

In a statement from his media office, Omar Khairat apologized to his fans for being unable to perform, emphasizing that doctors have advised complete rest to restore his health, which necessitates postponing his engagements for the current period.
