Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad was involved in a severe car accident on Friday evening while heading to El Ain El Sokhna to perform at a concert, forcing him to cancel the event and be rushed to the hospital by his brother, fellow artist Amr Saad, as fans anxiously awaited news of his condition, according to Egyptian media reports.

According to informed sources, Ahmed Saad’s car brakes failed after leaving Cairo, causing it to collide with a nearby vehicle and overturn four times before coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The accident left the singer with multiple bruises and injuries, including severe contusions to his back and chest caused by the deployment of the airbag.

Through his official Facebook page, Amr Saad posted a reassuring message: "We apologize to all colleagues and media outlets for the difficulty in communication at the moment, and we thank everyone for their concern. Ahmed is fine, God willing, after this unfortunate accident. Please keep him in your prayers."

Meanwhile, Mostafa Kamel, head of the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate, noted in a Facebook post that the singer is currently undergoing medical examinations for his back and spinal area due to the strong impact of the airbag during the collision. He also called on fans and followers to pray for Ahmed Saad’s safety and speedy recovery.
