Newlyweds Die After Inhaling Toxic Gas

The Bride Passes Away Following Her Husband’s Death

The wedding joy in a village in Upper Egypt was tragically cut short, as happiness turned into sorrow within moments when the groom passed away, followed shortly by his wife after struggling with suffocation caused by inhaling a toxic gas, in a heartbreaking incident in Minya Governorate, southern Egypt.

According to eyewitnesses, the couple’s family attempted to visit them the day after the wedding, but received no response to their knocks, forcing them to break open the door. Upon entering the apartment, they were shocked to find the newlyweds lying on the floor in critical condition and completely unconscious.

A Heartbreaking Tragedy

The couple was rushed to the hospital in a desperate attempt to save their lives; however, the groom was pronounced dead upon arrival due to “asphyxiation,” while the bride was transferred to the intensive care unit in critical condition before passing away later, ending a love story that had just begun in profound tragedy.

Medical reports confirmed that there was no suspicion of foul play in their deaths, and the prosecution ordered their burial amid deep sorrow in the village, where family joy turned into unforgettable grief.
