Investigations confirmed that the killer, who had a prior criminal record and had previously served time in prison, had attempted on several occasions to approach the victim but failed to carry out his plan, before returning with a meticulously prepared scheme to settle the dispute through murder.
Sources reported that the perpetrator broadcast a live video on his personal Facebook account, in which he threatened the victim. He then tracked the victim to his workplace and attacked him with a bladed weapon, leading to the immediate death of the store owner, leaving bystanders in shock as they attempted to intervene but were unsuccessful.

Social media platforms reacted strongly to the incident, with acquaintances and friends of the victim expressing their shock, highlighting his charitable acts and assistance to the poor, wishing him mercy. Others demanded the harshest penalties for the perpetrator, describing the act as a "devilish crime."
