Shocking developments regarding Sara Khalifa’s crisis

- Sara Khalifa and others involved in importing and reprocessing banned substances
- The presenter is also accused of using the substances
A chemical laboratory report linked to the banned substances case, which involves Egyptian media personality Sara Khalifa and several other defendants, revealed unexpected findings regarding the seized materials.
The analyses showed that the confiscated materials included banned substances, such as derivatives of "Indazol Carbocamide" listed in the first schedule of the law, in addition to weed and other chemicals used in the production of banned substances.
The report also revealed traces of other banned substances on tools and equipment found at the preparation site, confirming their use in manufacturing operations.
The defendants in the case, including Sara Khalifa, face charges related to trafficking and producing banned substances, while Sara is also accused of using the substances, according to Egyptian law.
Authorities arrested the presenter and several members of the criminal group involved in importing and producing synthetic weed in April, seizing large quantities of banned substances with an estimated total value of around 1.2 billion Egyptian pounds.
Investigations indicated that the presenter collaborated with identified partners to purchase the substances from abroad, reprocess them, and convert them into other forms within Egypt before selling them, while Khalifa denied all charges against her.
