Instagram, owned by Meta, has announced a new feature long requested by users: the "Watch History" for short videos, also known as Reels

The feature aims to enable users to retrieve any video they previously watched but lost due to accidental scrolling or a sudden app update

To access the feature, users need to go to their profile, tap the menu (three lines), select "Your Activity," and then click on "Watch History" to see their videos

The new feature offers high flexibility in managing the history, allowing users to sort clips chronologically (from newest to oldest or vice versa) or filter them based on a specific date range, such as last week or last month

Users can also filter videos based on the account that posted them
