Actress Entesar has confirmed that the hit comedy series Ragel w Settat is set to return with a new season after years of inactivity, responding to repeated fan requests to revive the show, despite earlier denials from Ashraf Abdel Baki

Entesar explained in media statements that the idea of bringing back the series had been under consideration for some time and that she had received official confirmation from the production team that the revival is indeed planned

Regarding Abdel Baki’s previous denial, Entesar joked, He said I spoke on my own, but now the confirmation came officially

Meanwhile, Abdel Baki had recently spoken about the project during a seminar at the Baghdad International Fair, noting that the idea was still under discussion due to the absence of several cast members, most notably the late Maha Abu Auf

He also mentioned changes to Mena Arafa’s character, who may appear in the new season as a married mother

Abdel Baki emphasized that he wants to carefully evaluate the project before making a final decision, stating, If we find it suitable and likely to succeed, we will go ahead with it
