  • Ahmed El-Saadany cried during the special screening of his new film because the script closely mirrors his personal life
  • The film follows a university professor whose life changes dramatically after a student enters it

Ahmed El-Saadany revealed the reason behind his tears at the special screening of his new film “We Have Love in Fantasy” alongside co-star Mayan El-Sayed, explaining that the script reflects many aspects of his own life

During the El Gouna International Film Festival, El-Saadany described the project as one of the closest to his heart, noting that reading the script deeply affected him to the point of tears

Screenwriter and director Sara Razyq noted that while presenting the script, she realized how much the events mirrored El-Saadany’s life and remarked that he was the most suitable actor to portray the role with such authenticity and emotion

The screening was attended by a wide range of artists who supported the cast and offered their congratulations, praising the film’s human story and artistic performance that left a strong impact on the audience

The film centers on a reserved university professor whose life takes a dramatic turn when a young student enters his life, forcing him to confront his complex feelings toward her, while she navigates a complicated romantic relationship

Alongside Ahmed El-Saadany and Mayan El-Sayed, the cast included Omar Razyq, Farida Ragab, Seif Hamida, Afaf Mostafa, and other actors

This is El-Saadany’s second consecutive romantic film, following “A Few Hours One Day” released a few months ago, written by Mohamed Sadeq, directed by Othman Abou Elban, and produced by Ahmed El-Sobky
