Moroccan artist Mohamed El Rifi, star of “X Factor”, has officially announced his separation from his wife, Sakina, following a long-standing marital dispute that captured the attention of his followers over the past months.

El Rifi shared the news on his official Facebook page, writing: “Divorce, finally, thank God… The hardest thing in life is false testimony in court. A piece of advice to everyone: beware of false testimony, for there is accountability before God… I love you all in God, and I was supported by my mother’s approval and the prayers of the good people who love Mohamed El Rifi. Pray for me.”

A Long Legal Battle This statement revealed part of El Rifi’s struggle with his marital case, which reached the courts amid an exchange of accusations and controversial statements on social media.

The conflict between El Rifi and his wife had escalated significantly, after personal and family issues turned into a public legal matter, prompting the artist to appear multiple times in the media and on social platforms to clarify his position. He stressed in his statements that “false testimony” was the main cause of his difficulties, expressing confidence that justice would ultimately prevail.
