Abdel Halim Hafez’s family organizes public visits and shares rare photos of him

Following the call to document the late artist Abdel Halim Hafez’s house as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the “Andaleeb” family announced the opening of his home in Cairo’s Zamalek district to visitors, following specific rules to organize public visits.
The family explained on their official Facebook page that visits will be available daily from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., except on Wednesdays and Fridays, with the possibility of booking private appointments by sending a personal message to the family.
Rare Photos The family also shared a collection of rare photos of the “Andaleeb,” confirming that they will be part of the home’s exhibits for visitors to view during their visit, serving as a guide for capturing the best photos and creating memories inside the house.
They added that this album represents the first installment, with more albums to follow soon, showcasing different aspects of the singer’s life in his home.
Call to Evaluate the House The family had previously confirmed their intention to include the house on UNESCO’s World Heritage list, following rumors about its potential sale to a wealthy businessman. They invited fans of the “Andaleeb” to support the house’s registration by rating it on Google and Facebook, noting that these steps aim to preserve the artist’s legacy and reinforce his artistic and cultural presence in the collective memory of future generations. Audience interaction and positive ratings are considered a preparatory step toward official registration with UNESCO.
