Egyptian actress Likaa El Khamissi has revealed that her new series, "Rouge Aswad" (Black Rouge), will be airing soon. The show, which began filming in 2024, was initially scheduled to be released before Ramadan 2025.

El Khamissi shared the announcement via an Instagram story, keeping it short and exciting for her followers: "Rouge Aswad series, coming soon."

Star-Studded Female Cast and Multiple Delays The series features a lineup of top actresses, including Rania Youssef, Mai Selim, Dalia Mostafa, and Farah El Zahed. The show faced several delays after completing filming late last year, before El Khamissi finally confirmed its release in this year’s off-season.

El Khamissi: A Series with a Powerful Message El Khamissi emphasized that the series carries a strong message and rich content, expressing her hope that audiences will enjoy it: "The concept is very special, and the series tackles multiple issues in depth. God willing, it will meet viewers’ expectations."

Plot and Production Team The storyline revolves around five women facing divorce for different reasons, whose lives intersect in family court, exploring sensitive topics that reflect women’s issues in society.

Alongside the leading actresses, the series also stars Karim El Omri, Abed Anani, and Mohamed El Desouki, and is written by Ayman Selim and directed by Mohamed Abdelrahman Hamaki.
