The theft of singer Hamada Helal’s villa in the Fifth Settlement area of Cairo sparked widespread attention on social media, after the security authorities quickly uncovered the details of the case.

According to the report Helal filed with the Fifth Settlement Police Department, he was surprised to find that several of his personal belongings and family items had gone missing. This prompted the authorities to intensify their efforts immediately, forming investigation teams to analyze surveillance cameras and question the household staff.

Exploiting Trust

Investigations revealed that the maid, who worked regularly in the villa, had exploited the family’s trust and her position to carry out the theft.

The inquiries confirmed that the stolen items included a diamond earring, an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and several accessories belonging to the singer’s wife.

After proper procedures were followed, the suspect was apprehended with the stolen items in her possession and admitted to the crime when confronted with the evidence. An official report was filed, and the suspect was referred to the public prosecution to continue the investigation and take the necessary legal measures before presenting her to the competent authorities.
