Madonna Reaffirms Her Support and Solidarity with Gaza Madonna Urges the International Community to Take Immediate Action to End Gaza’s Tragedy

American pop star Madonna expressed her full solidarity with the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the severe suffering faced by children there due to the siege imposed by Tel Aviv since the outbreak of hostilities following the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation in October 2023.

Madonna focused on the famine affecting the young ones and called on the international community to take urgent action to halt this tragedy. She urged the rapid opening of humanitarian corridors to rescue children trapped amid the crossfire and encouraged her followers to support humanitarian organizations and help protect them from the threat of starvation, emphasizing the critical need for immediate humanitarian intervention.

A Message to the Pope In a post on her official social media accounts, Madonna stated that the best gift she could give her son Rocco on his birthday was to urge everyone to contribute to saving children, emphasizing that as a mother she cannot bear to witness their suffering. She also sent a message to Pope Francis, calling on him to visit Gaza, describing him as the only person who could not be barred from entry and stressing that politics alone cannot bring about the desired change.

Madonna’s recent stance marks a notable shift in her position regarding Israeli policies compared to her previous support, particularly since the events of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” and the war during which the Palestinian people have faced acts of extermination. This shift was reflected in her empathy for Gaza’s children during a speech she delivered at a London theater on the third day of her 2023 world tour.

Madonna’s message comes at a time when the Gaza Strip is experiencing the harshest wave of starvation, as Israeli forces have blocked the entry of more than 90,000 aid trucks since early March, having completely closed the crossings as part of a systematic plan to starve the population.
