Heartbreaking and moving… Anas Al-Sharif’s will ignites social media following his martyrdom.

In his final testament, Al-Sharif delivered a message to the world. As a powerful voice reporting on events in the Gaza Strip, he was undeterred by rockets and bombs; rather, they strengthened his resolve amid escalating suffering that demolished what was built and turned everything upside down.
Anas Al-Sharif’s will reads: "This is my will and my last message… If these words reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice. God knows I gave all my effort and strength to be a support and voice for my people, ever since I opened my eyes to life in the alleys and streets of Jabalia refugee camp. My hope was for God to prolong my life so I could return with my family and loved ones to our original town, occupied Ashkelon (al-Majdal), but God’s will was stronger and His decree decisive. I lived the pain in all its details, tasted grief and loss repeatedly."
"I urge you to remember Palestine," he continued: "And yet I never hesitated to convey the truth as it is, without falsification or distortion, hoping God will bear witness against those who remained silent, accepted our killing, besieged our breaths, and whose hearts were unmoved by the torn bodies of our children and women, who did not stop the massacre our people have endured for over a year and a half. I urge you to remember Palestine, the jewel of the Muslims' crown and the heartbeat of every free person in this world."
With sorrow, he added: "I urge you to remember its people and its innocent children who were denied a chance to dream and live in safety and peace. Their pure bodies were crushed under thousands of tons of Israeli bombs and missiles, shattered and scattered on the walls. I urge you not to let chains silence you, nor borders confine you. Be bridges toward liberating our land and people, until the sun of dignity and freedom rises on our occupied country."
Leaving behind his eternal spirit and memory, Al-Sharif did not forget his family: "I entrust you with my family: my beloved daughter Sham, whom I was not fortunate to see grow as I dreamed. I entrust you with my dear son Salah, whom I wished to be a support and companion until he grows strong, carrying my burdens and continuing the mission. I entrust you with my beloved mother, whose prayers were my shield and whose light was my path. I also entrust you with my lifelong companion, my dear wife Umm Salah Bayan, who was separated from me by war for long days and months, yet remained loyal like an olive tree trunk that does not bend, patient and devout, carrying the trust in my absence with all strength and faith."
