The competent investigative authorities in 6th of October City ordered the release of "Rania," sister of actress Menna Arafa, and her ex-husband following a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical altercation inside a well-known social club.

Investigations revealed that the disagreement stemmed from arrangements related to child visitation. Rania had come to the club to see her children and brought them some gifts, but the situation escalated when her ex-husband destroyed the gifts and verbally and physically assaulted her in front of those present.

The police received a report from the club’s management about the incident, promptly intervened, and detained both parties, transferring them to the police station where an official report was filed.

After hearing both sides, the investigative authorities decided to release them while continuing the investigation to resolve the case according to the applicable legal procedures.
