Diana Karazon Closes Jerash 2025 with Spectacular Hit Amid Record Crowd

Diana Karazon, Jordan’s beloved superstar, delivered a breathtaking finale to the 39th Jerash Festival in 2025. Performing on the ancient South Theatre stage before a record-breaking audience, she stirred emotions and pride with her heartfelt tribute to Jordan through song.

Opening with “Amman in the Heart,” Karazon immediately ignited fireworks of applause and chants. She followed with the patriotic anthem “Hna Kbar El-Balad,” and continued to move the crowd with “Rasak Bel Aaly,” a performance so emotional that she shed tears on stage in response to the audience's deep connection.

The musical journey included hits like “Oromoanieh Hal Lielah” and “Hila Ya Ordoniyeh,” transitioning into softer notes with the romantic “Bnish Ma Bddna Hada.” She honored Gulf music with “Ya Hajsi” and revived Bedouin nostalgia with “Ya Madaqdaq Bin Ami,” paying tribute to timeless traditions.

Highlighting her range, Karazon then performed “Nzelna Ala Al-Bustan” by Omar Al-Abdallat followed by the crowd-pleaser “Ala Al-Ain Muteen.” The grand finale culminated in a powerful Umm Kulthum medley featuring classics like “Ya Ghala Min Ayami,” “Hal Ra’a Al-Hob Sakari,” and “Ya Habibi Kul Shay Bikada.”

Adding to the evening’s magic, young Jordanian accordion prodigy Sharif Al Muayṭa, who lives with special needs, delivered an inspiring solo performance, symbolizing inclusivity and Jordanian talent.

At the ceremony's start, Karazon was honored by both the Minister of Culture and the Festival Director in recognition of her exceptional artistry and national impact. Critics and fans alike described the crowd turnout as the largest in her career—a night that reaffirmed her place as a cultural icon and Jerash Festival’s grandest finale to date.
