Nour El Nabawy and Electricity Employee Reach Reconciliation After Running-Over Incident

رIn a new development in the case accusing Egyptian actor Nour El Nabawy of running over an electricity company employee with his car under the 26th of July Axis in Giza Governorate last May, the victim’s lawyer, Amr El Qady, announced that the two parties have reached a reconciliation agreement that concluded all legal procedures.
El Qady confirmed that his client, Wael Samir, officially withdrew the charges against El Nabawy before the Kurdasa and Imbaba prosecution offices, in the presence of lawyer Ashraf Abdel Aziz representing the actor.
He pointed out that the incident caused severe injuries to the victim, requiring a complex surgery to insert 11 plates and screws in his leg, but the settlement was reached in a satisfactory manner that preserves the dignity and psychological and financial rights of the injured party.
In a press statement, El Qady said, “Thank God, all my client’s psychological and financial rights have been restored. We reconciled and got our rights, and may God always support the oppressed.”
The North Giza General Prosecution had begun investigating the incident immediately after it occurred while the employee was performing his duties under the 26th of July Axis, before the case was closed with an official reconciliation that ended the controversy surrounding the incident.
