First response from Ahmed Fahmy after the end of his marriage to Amira Farraj

Just hours after retired actress Amira Farraj officially announced her separation from singer and actor Ahmed Fahmy, the latter broke his silence with a subtle, indirect comment on Instagram—one that many interpreted as a reflection of his emotional state post-divorce.
Fahmy shared a series of recent photos, accompanied by the caption: "Every day is a new beginning... Forget what could have been, and look forward to what can be." The statement sparked speculation, with followers considering it a symbolic message marking the end of a deeply personal chapter in his life.
A 28-Year Love Story Ends Quietly
The separation brought an end to a nearly three-decade-long relationship, which began when both were young. They met at the Cairo Opera House when Amira was 17, and Fahmy was just starting out in music and singing. Their engagement lasted four years before they tied the knot in 1997.
A Peaceful and Respectful Separation
Over 28 years of marriage, they had two sons—Omar and Hassan. Close sources confirm that the separation happened quietly and respectfully, with both parties keen to maintain a stable environment for their now-grown children.
Fahmy Moves Forward with His Career
Despite personal developments, Ahmed Fahmy remains focused on his career. He is currently preparing for the drama series "2 Ahwa" (Two Coffees), one of the most anticipated non-Ramadan TV releases.
The show marks his first collaboration with Syrian actress Maram Ali, and features a notable ensemble cast, including: Mohsen Mohieldin, Mai Al-Qadi, Nancy Salah, Hazem Ihab, Basant Abou Bakr, Ismail Farghaly, Ahmed El Shamy, Omar Riyad, Karim El-Omary, and Heba Elabasery.
The series is written by Amr Mahmoud Yassin, directed by Essam Nassar, and produced by Ahmed Abdel Aaty under the United Media Services banner.
