New Album and a Humorous Video… Hamza Namira Blends Seriousness with Humor

In an unexpected and lighthearted move, Egyptian artist Hamza Namira decided to promote his new album in an unconventional way by sharing a humorous video on his official Facebook page, which quickly gained widespread attention.
The video, created by one of the fans of the singer known for the hit "Ya Mazloom," cleverly combined comedic clips from famous drama productions, including iconic scenes featuring the legendary Adel Imam. These were skillfully edited to match Namira’s musical style and profound lyrics, resulting in a witty montage that delighted his followers.
Hamza jokingly captioned the video: “I’m tired… I hope whoever made this doesn’t realize that I’m releasing my album on the 23rd!” —a playful hint toward the official release date of his much-anticipated album: July 23rd.
A Strange Dream and a Candid Message
But the fun didn’t stop there. Namira revealed a more personal side of his emotional state in another post on Instagram, where he shared a strange dream he had recently amid the stress of working on the album:
“I dreamed that I petted a stray dog, but it scratched me. I went to the pharmacy to get a rabies vaccine... but the pharmacist kept stalling, and I woke up terrified that I hadn’t gotten the shot!”
He added with humor: “Curse you, pharmacist… I won’t come to you in any more dreams!”
Namira concluded with an honest confession: “Don’t try to interpret this dream because I just read about a woman who died from a dog scratch… Finishing the album triggers all my fears, stress, and anxiety.”
Exciting Collaboration with Ramy Gamal
Adding to the surprises, Hamza Namira teamed up with artist Ramy Gamal in a duet titled “I Accepted the Challenge” featured on Gamal’s new album. The album includes 15 diverse tracks that explore themes like love, loss, betrayal, and longing.
Some of the standout songs are: “Ya Gamalak” (Oh Your Beauty), “Ghebt Leh” (Why Did You Disappear), “Hat Hodn” (Give Me a Hug), “Mataletsh Gedaa” (You Didn’t Come Through), “Rouhi Aleik Betnadi” (My Soul Calls Out to You), among others, all of which have received wide acclaim since their release.
