The organizing body announced that the concert has been rescheduled to July 31, 2025, prioritizing the safety of attendees and staff, after the fire caused severe material damage to the venue.

The organizers confirmed that the decision was made as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety in light of the damages sustained to the site’s infrastructure, while also affirming that preparations are continuing for the new date.

George Wassouf had earlier expressed his excitement to meet his fans in Egypt by sharing the concert poster on his official Facebook page, writing: "My beloved fans in Egypt, see you on July 17 in the North Coast," which was met with great enthusiasm from his followers, especially after his long absence from the Egyptian stage.

In parallel, George Wassouf is also preparing for another major performance this summer at the 12th edition of the Ehden Festival in Jbeil, Lebanon, scheduled to take place on Friday, August 8, 2025.

He announced the event via Facebook, saying: "For the third year, the Ehden Festival brings me together with my dearest fans. Our date is Friday, August 8."
