Critical Condition": Egyptian Actor Lotfi Labib Transferred to Intensive Care

The Egyptian actor Lotfi Labib experienced a sudden health crisis in the past few hours, which required his transfer to a private hospital in Cairo, according to Egyptian media reports.
Although his family has refrained from revealing details about his condition, a source close to the actor confirmed that his health has significantly deteriorated, and he underwent a series of scans, tests, and medical examinations.
Doctors decided to admit Lotfi Labib to the intensive care unit, where he is currently receiving close medical monitoring. Visits have been restricted due to his critical health condition.
The actor, known for his convincing performances and wide popularity, has been suffering for some time from age-related illnesses, in addition to complications from a stroke he suffered several years ago. The stroke affected his ability to move, leaving the left side of his body completely paralyzed. He had been undergoing physical therapy sessions without noticeable improvement.
Permanent Retirement from Acting
Lotfi Labib had previously announced his permanent retirement from acting due to his health condition. He also recently underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his larynx, which affected his voice in recent times. Despite limited attempts to return to the screen, his health challenges forced him to step away, and he is now focusing on writing as a new means of expression.
It is worth noting that his latest work was the film “Mar’i Al Primo”, in which he starred alongside several prominent actors. The film was written by Ihab Bleibel and directed by Saeed Hamed
