Surprising Developments in the Case of Mohamed Ramadan’s Son

In a surprising turn of events, the Juvenile Misdemeanor Appeals Court in 6th of October City, Egypt, issued a one-year suspended prison sentence on Thursday to the son of Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan. The verdict comes after the boy was accused of assaulting another child at a club in Sheikh Zayed City.
The hearing was held at the Juvenile Court, with both Mohamed Ramadan and his son present. The defense team submitted a reconciliation document signed by both parties, which was acknowledged by the victim’s family. This led the court to issue a reduced sentence with the prison term suspended.
Reconciliation With the Victim’s Family
Mohamed Ramadan had previously announced on June 17 that a reconciliation had taken place between his family and the victim's. He met with the child and his parents at his home in 6th of October City and shared photos of the gathering on his official Facebook page. He captioned the post: “Everything said before was just rumors… Ali (my son) and Omar (the other child) are like brothers.”
Ramadan added: “The reconciliation happened in a warm, family-like atmosphere. Thankfully, I gained a brother and sister in Mohamed Salem and Rola. May God bless your son Omar and protect my son Ali and his siblings.”
This court ruling follows a previous decision by the Juvenile Court ordering the placement of Ramadan’s son in a social care facility for minors, without specifying the duration. The recent reconciliation ultimately shifted the course of the case.
