Syrian actress Nesreen Tafesh expressed her great happiness about her marriage to Egyptian businessman Ahmed Gowhar, affirming that their union — which took place in January 2025 — marked a "peaceful and special chapter" in her personal journey.

She described him as the "right partner."

Through her Instagram Stories, Tafesh shared a heartfelt post about the importance of choosing the right person, writing: "The truth is, marrying the right partner is one of the greatest blessings of all… The blessing of companionship and shared life is unmatched. Marriage is the most meaningful human relationship — it makes one lighter in spirit, kinder in soul, and more attentive to life."

Tafesh is currently spending her summer vacation with her husband, frequently sharing glimpses of their moments on the beach and in public places — all while keeping the personal details of their relationship away from the spotlight.

This is Tafesh’s third marriage. She was previously married to an Emirati man, then to Egyptian yoga instructor Sherif Sharkawy, before tying the knot with Ahmed Gowhar — owner of the “Gowhar Jewelry” chain and the former husband of Sham Al-Dhahabi, daughter of renowned Syrian singer Asala Nasri.

Born in Syria in 1982 to a Palestinian father and an Algerian mother, Nesreen Tafesh began her artistic career in the early 2000s after graduating from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus.

She gained popularity for her roles in TV series such as “Sabaya,” “Nesaa’ Sessions,” and “Al-Welada Min Al-Khasira,” before transitioning into the music scene with several solo song releases.
