Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny announced via his official Facebook page that he has responded to his fans’ request by revealing the release date of his new album.

In a post that generated wide engagement, Hosny wrote:

“Open your eyes and get ready—by popular demand, God willing, the full album Lena Ma‘ad will be released on July 10. Orders, my beloved fans.”

This announcement coincides with the ongoing theatrical run of his new film Restart, which premiered during the Eid al‑Adha season and continues to post strong box‑office returns.

A Romantic Comedy on Screen

Restart unfolds as a romantic comedy about a young mobile‑phone technician who dreams of marrying a social‑media influencer. When their modest means stand in the way, the couple and their families embark on an adventure to achieve online fame.

Restart marks the second cinematic collaboration between Tamer Hosny and actress Hana El Zahed, following the popular success of Bhebak (“I Love You”). The cast also includes Mimi Gamal, Bassem Samra, Mohamed Tharwat, and Essam El Sakka. The screenplay is by Ayman Bahgat Qamar, and the film is directed by Sara Wafik.
