Enas Ezz El-Din Resorts to Legal Action After Defamation Campaign Against Her

The Egyptian singer and artist Enas Ezzedine announced via her official Facebook account that she has begun taking legal action against individuals who defamed her through verbal abuse and slander.
Enas wrote:"I have contacted legal advisor George Farid Nicola to handle the lawsuits against individuals who defamed me with insults and slander. He promised to bring them to justice."She added:"From now on, I won’t stay silent against anyone who spreads lies or defames me on social media... Many thanks to George Farid Nicola. May God grant success and guidance."
This legal move follows a wave of public reactions sparked by Enas Ezzedine’s bold interview on a talk show, during which she revealed a shocking personal experience: her mother married her fiancé when she was just 18 years old.
“My relationship with my mother was cut off for a year”She commented on the incident saying:"My relationship with my mother was cut off for a full year after what happened. But eventually, we reconnected, and I tried to forgive and move on with my life… I don’t regret it because I realized that any man who leaves a girl to marry her mother is a disturbed person."She continued:"He proposed to me, and four months later I found out they had been married since he left me. Until this day, I don’t know how they got in touch. When I asked her, she told me: ‘I chose him over you.’"
Discussing the impact this had on her life, Enas said:"I lost trust in everyone after that. Especially since I had a difficult childhood—my father passed away when I was five, and my grandmother raised me because my mother couldn’t handle the responsibility."
