Tamer Ashour Undergoes Emergency Surgery Following Serious Knee Injury

A severe knee injury disrupted the schedule of Egyptian artist Tamer Ashour after medical examinations revealed a torn cruciate ligament, necessitating urgent surgery.
According to press reports, Ashour underwent a precise knee operation in recent days at a private hospital, following doctors’ recommendations after diagnosing the injury. He is currently undergoing a physical therapy and rehabilitation program lasting several weeks, requiring complete rest under medical supervision.
Due to his health condition, Ashour had to cancel all his upcoming artistic engagements and concerts, except for two events: the first on June 13 in Kuwait alongside star Tamer Hosny, and the second on June 24 as part of the Mawazine Festival in Morocco.
This comes as Ashour continues to enjoy success with his latest album “Yah,” which he recently released on his official YouTube channel and all digital platforms. The album has garnered wide engagement on social media, making it one of the most prominent albums of the 2025 season.
The album includes 12 songs featuring a variety of emotions and melodies, such as “Yah,” “Allah Yihenn,” “Habibi Al-Qadeem,” “Hobak Rizq,” “Ana Makrahtosh,” “Youm Ma Tensa,” “Qasr Ba’eed,” “Mertahnesh,” “Mashayen,” “Gam Sharafu,” “Mat’amilhash Heka,” and “Mish Ba’raf Anam.”
