The 9th season of the "Energy Drama Cup" awards ceremony, held in Cairo, honored actresses Yasmin Abdel Aziz and Anushka in recognition of their outstanding performances during the Ramadan 2025 season.

Yasmin Abdel Aziz topped the list of honorees for her role in the series "Watqabel Habeeb," which achieved great success, receiving warm applause from the audience. Several key contributors to the show were also honored, including poet Mona Al-Qai’i, who wrote the series’ theme song that was well received by viewers, screenwriter Amr Mahmoud Yassin, and director Mohamed Al-Khubairi.

Radio Energy 92.1 organized the event to honor some of the most prominent stars, among them Anushka, who shone with her remarkable performance throughout the year. During the ceremony, actor Khaled Selim dedicated his award to his wife and daughters, emphasizing that their support is the secret behind his success and continuity.

Honoring Salah AbdullahActor Salah Abdullah was also presented with a special appreciation award for his ongoing artistic contributions and distinguished performances in Ramadan productions. He expressed special thanks to the late Dr. Walid Mustafa’s spirit.

Yasmin Abdel Aziz extended her gratitude to the entire team for their tremendous efforts that contributed to the success of the series.

The ceremony took place at a major hotel in Cairo, attended by a wide gathering of stars, drama makers, and a large audience who participated in voting for their favorite works, which surpassed 4 million votes this year.

The "Energy Drama Cup" is considered one of the most prominent annual artistic events celebrating television drama in Egypt and the Arab world.
