The Egyptian actor Emad Moharram suffered a second stroke in a short period after experiencing a health setback that significantly affected his condition, according to his wife, who called for prayers for his speedy recovery.

In press statements, the actor’s wife said that he had another stroke, confirming that this time it severely impacted his health.

She urged friends and fans of the actor to pray for him, adding, “I ask everyone to pray for his recovery and that he completes his healing well.”

“Addicted to Art”

In earlier statements, Emad Moharram revealed why he has not retired from acting despite his declining health, affirming, “I have never thought of retiring because I am addicted to art… I considered Youssef Shaaban my role model, and our relationship started because he was my neighbor and then became my close friend.

I have money and produce works, and I believe that art plays a major role in the development of society.”

He also spoke about the health crisis he faced in recent years, saying, “I had a mild stroke that affected my speech, so I settled with what I have contributed to the art field. I was very saddened, especially after the death of my dear friend Farouk Al-Fishawy.”
