Death of Ahmed Mekky’s Nephew Without Disclosure of Cause Ahmed Mekky: "O Allah, have mercy on my sister Azza’s son"
The El Kebeer Awi star shared a post on his official Facebook page, writing:
“O Allah, have mercy on my sister Azza’s son, Ayman Abdel Elah. Grant him a place in Your vast Paradise, forgive him, and be kind to him. We ask for your prayers for the deceased, for mercy and forgiveness, and for us to be granted patience.”
The Loss of Ahmed Mekky’s MotherA few months earlier, Mekky also mourned the loss of his mother. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, he wrote:
“Glory be to the One who is eternal. My mother, Houria Mohamed Gamal El-Din Shaker, has passed away. I ask you to pray for her. O Allah, forgive her, have mercy on her, protect her, and pardon her. Honor her place of rest. O Allah, replace her home with one better than this life’s, and grant her a better family than the one she leaves behind. Admit her to Paradise by Your mercy.”

Artistically, Mekky’s latest work was the TV series El Ghaawi, which aired during the 2025 Ramadan drama season.
