From the depths of pain, they summon their strength, striving to overcome the cruel barrier of hunger. In the midst of oppression, their eyes speak volumes, uttering words that their mouths cannot form. Amidst the agony, sighs and laments rise from the heart of a bitter struggle.

Broken hearts tell stories of sorrowful events, while bodies weep at the horrors endured by the people of Gaza. All the while, the aggression rages, pounding the land of resistance with deadly missiles and treacherous bullets. Words stumble under the weight of fear and terror that grip children who have barely lived life.

Amid genocide, buried dreams, severe hunger, and departing souls, Gaza wakes in pain with every sunrise, bidding farewell to those who once sighed over memories of the past.

What words can possibly describe the wounded Gaza, and its people who continue to fight on their land, defending their dignity and pride, carrying the burden of either victory or martyrdom?

The sounds of empty stomachs grow louder, coinciding with global warnings of a looming famine, as vital food supplies remain stuck at border crossings.

Developments on the Ground

On the 60th day since the resumption of the assault on Gaza, medical sources reported that the early morning hours saw over 100 people killed or missing in airstrikes targeting homes in Beit Lahia and Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Other medical sources confirmed that 41 people were killed in air raids across the Strip since dawn on Friday.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Civil Defense stated that over 85% of its operational capacity has been destroyed since the war began.

The World Food Programme reported that families in Gaza are starving, while the food they desperately need remains stuck at border points. The latest food security assessments indicate that the world is in a race against time to prevent famine.

The World Health Organization also sounded the alarm regarding the deteriorating health situation in Gaza, warning that time is running out to save lives in the besieged Strip.
