Gori Bakr's Ex-Husband Files for Custody Revocation of Their Son

Egyptian actress Gori Bakr’s ex-husband, through his lawyer Counselor Abdel Hamid Rahim, has filed a legal notice (No. 9569 of 2025 at the October First Family Court), demanding custody of their son, Tamim, arguing that the mother is unfit for guardianship.
A reconciliation request (No. 1976 of 2025) was also submitted to the Family Reconciliation Office to revoke Gori Bakr’s custody. However, the competent authority ruled that it lacked jurisdiction and referred the case to the Family Court to determine the mother’s suitability for custody.
In parallel, the father submitted another request (No. 1977 of 2025) to be granted visitation rights to his son until a final verdict is issued on the custody matter.
Custody Revocation CaseThe custody case states that actress Gori Bakr was previously married to the plaintiff and gave birth to their son, Tamim Rami, on September 9, 2023. However, the marriage lacked emotional stability, allegedly due to the mother being influenced by the dramatic roles she played, which negatively affected the relationship. The marriage officially ended on August 14, 2024.
